Drug Chest – Robbins & Co, London, ca. 1870

Particularly nice ship’s or travel pharmacy in mahogany transport box with brass flat folding handles. The upper part opens and shows 17 blown glass bottles with fitted stoppers of Robbins & Co, Chemists, Oxford street London. Some bottles have residu from drugs. The drawer has tiny hand cut dovetail joints and is locked with a copper pin. The finish is in fine condition on this historic chest. With key.
