Here you will find rare and unique models and diorama’s from before 1900. Representatives of the former kings of the sea. Made by sailors and master model makers. All these models have been build in hundreds of hours and with great patience by fans of the majestic look of old sailing ships.
A diorama with a three masted fullrigger or frigate nearby an island with lighthouse and signal mast. Halfship under full sail. Square rigged with twelve gun holes on portside. Made with fine craftmanship and sensitive painted.

The Zaanlander is a particularly attractive model made in 1932. All parts are very detailed and made with fine craftmanship. Full rigged mast with original sails in good condition. Lee-boards, big rudder and so on. Supreme original quality.

This particularly attractive model of a seagoning klipper is made around 1860. Nice details as a steering wheel, brass railing, anchorwinch, a full rigged mast, lee-boards.

The Vrouwe Ina is a particularly attractive blockmodel made in 1838. All parts are made very detailed. A golden ‘mastwortel’ on top of the mast. Chimney on the foredeck. Full rigged mast, lee-boards, big rudder, pick-hook, two punting-poles and so on. The original sails are in very good condition. The planked hatch can be removed to vieuw the inside of the hull. The name of the maker and the year of fabrication is written on the inside of the hatch.

The Petronella is a very fine seaman made model of a seagoing spritsail barge, made in 1843. All parts are nice detailed, with anchorwinch (braadspit) and two barrels on the foredeck. Full rigged mast, lee-boards, big rudder, two pick-hooks, ladder, table in the cabin and so on. The planked hatch can be removed to vieuw the inside the hold with timber.
With original sails in good condition.
Practically the same model can be seen in the Fries Scheepvaart Museum.
